Once a week, Andrea prepares the packaging of food for the meals-on-wheels program of Santropol Roulant. Every year, she participates in the fundraising efforts of Empty Bowls, an event that enables the community to purchase a bowl made by a local potter and fill it with soup. The money raised is used to feed the hungry in the greater Montreal region. In addition, Andrea has been an active member of Breast Cancer Action Montreal (BCAM); she participates in their annual walk with the Greenfield Park Girl Scouts to raise money for research regarding education and training to reduce the risk of breast cancer (Andrea’s mother is a breast cancer survivor!)
